- Develop and maintain reusable, maintainable, and high-quality code for our Android applications.
- Ensure code is optimised for performance, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate closely with the product team to conceptualise, design, and implement new features and innovative experiments.
- Actively participate in brainstorming sessions, providing technical insights to shape product ideas.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our technology stack, adopting best practices and exploring new tools and frameworks.
- Proven experience in Android app development with a strong portfolio of applications.
- Proficiency in Java or Kotlin, and a deep understanding of Android SDK.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
- Excellent knowledge of architectural and design patterns.
- Strong experience working with Git versioning tools.
- Commitment to code quality, testing, and documentation.
- Familiarity with Rx and coroutines for asynchronous programming.
- Experience with dependency injection frameworks.
- Proficiency with Jetpack Compose for modern UI development.
- Strong skills in benchmarking and optimisation to enhance app performance.
