Game Operations Intern
The role involves supervising IP collaboration and licensed merchandise. This includes in-game collaborations, licensed merchandise (goods, figures, etc.), and related offline events, ensuring compliance with the original IP's worldview, brand guidelines, and rights requirements. It also requires coordination and communication with internal teams (operations, planning, marketing) and external stakeholders (IP holders, partners in Japan and Korea), accurately conveying project intentions and feedback. Additionally, the role involves translating, organizing, and managing multilingual documents (Chinese and Japanese) for review materials, proposals, and daily communications, with potential for meeting interpretation and minute-taking. Support for the planning and review process of IP-licensed merchandise and derivative products is also a key responsibility, ensuring adherence to official standards and rights conditions. On-site supervision for offline events may also be required.
- Review and supervise IP collaboration content for key company products, including in-game collaboration gameplay and monetization content, as well as licensed IP merchandise and derivative products (such as goods and physical items). Ensure all content complies with the IP’s worldview, brand guidelines, and copyright requirements.
- Communicate daily with internal teams including operations, marketing, and product teams, as well as overseas IP holders and partners in regions such as Japan and Korea. Accurately convey our creative direction and content requirements, efficiently consolidate and relay feedback from IP licensors, and drive projects toward smooth execution.
- Primarily responsible for translating, organizing, and archiving review materials, planning documents, emails, and daily communications in Chinese and Japanese to support collaboration and licensing projects. Participate in meeting interpretation and meeting minute preparation as required.
- Participate in the planning and review processes for IP-licensed merchandise and derivative products (including selected offline events). Assist in confirming settings, visual presentations, copywriting, and compliance to ensure the final products meet official IP standards.
- Passionate about gaming, with deep interest in anime, IP works, and related pop-culture, and solid content comprehension skills.
- Excellent proficiency in Chinese and Japanese; Japanese proficiency at N1 level or above, with strong spoken ability for meeting interpretation and note-taking, and the ability to write professional business Japanese.
- Korean language skills are a plus (for daily communication or document comprehension).
- Strong cross-team communication skills, a high sense of responsibility, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, multi-project work environment.
- Proficient in common office software, with strong documentation organization and time-management skills.
