LightSpeed Japan Studio is a game development studio dedicated to crafting original AAA action game titles for global audiences. Led by industry veteran Hideaki Itsuno, the studio operates across two locations in Tokyo and Osaka.

- Design and Development of Core Game Systems Plan and build the fundamental rules, progression flow, and key systems (growth, equipment, skills, economy, etc.) that form the backbone of the player experience.
- Inter-System Integration Design Ensure combat, progression, collection, economy, and other systems interact cohesively to deliver a unified and engaging gameplay experience.
- System Design from a UX Perspective Design specifications that prioritize intuitive, easy-to-understand UI/UX, ensuring smooth operation and player comprehension.
- Balancing and Data Design Plan and adjust parameters such as growth curves, reward systems, and resource inflation control to maintain long-term engagement and game sustainability.
- Specification Documentation and Cross-Team Collaboration Create clear and detailed documentation of system specifications and intentions, facilitating smooth collaboration with programmers, artists, QA, and other disciplines.
- Practical experience in designing game systems for action games or online games
- Skills in parameter design, reward structure planning, and inflation control for balanced gameplay
- Experience designing UX/UI with a focus on usability
- Strong communication skills and ability to create logical, clear documentation for cross-disciplinary work
- Foundational knowledge of game development, including scripting, animation, and networking
- Ability to design playtests and make improvements based on test results
Preferred Skills:
- Experience developing AAA titles or large-scale online games
- Experience applying data analytics for continuous improvement
- Familiarity with game development tools such as Unreal Engine
