Insights Analyst

Description

Support publishing and product teams with actionable data insights that inform business decisions, player understanding, and content performance.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct self-serve data exploration (SQL) to analyze cohorts, funnels, retention, and campaign performance.
  • Maintain tracking dashboards covering awareness, engagement, and conversion metrics.
  • Own and deliver a weekly Insight Package summarizing key learnings and recommendations.
  • Work with internal data teams to define metrics, validate models, and translate findings into actionable publishing insights.
  • Turn broad business or dev questions into clear hypotheses and structured research plans.
  • Prepare concise, data-driven presentations that influence decision-making at both studio and publishing levels.
Requirements
  • 3–4 years in product, insights, or business analysis (gaming or digital consumer industries).
  • Strong SQL skills for independent data exploration.
  • Experience collaborating with Data Scientists or Analysts to co-deliver reports.
  • Proven record of presenting insights that influenced business or marketing decisions.
  • Hands-on experience with dashboards and KPI iteration.
  • Gamer with broad platform and genre exposure.
  • Familiarity with data tools (Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift).
  • Cross-cultural communication experience; Chinese proficiency a plus.
  • Interest in AI-driven data analysis and player discovery trends.
