Project Management Intern

Lightspeed Tech Center is a R&D department under Lightspeed Studios which develop PUBG Mobile and other high-quality games. Our Tech Center leads the research, exploration, and discovery of innovative technologies and provides technical services for all games during all phases of life cycle, including engine, audio, QA, AI, next generation game, technical cooperation, etc.
- Provide technical support communication for game development projects. Assist in communicating technical questions that arise during the development process between project planning, development, and technical support teams.
- Regularly manage progress updates. Based on the technical support development needs, regularly manage progress, communicate appropriately about issues encountered during the process, propose solutions, and implement them.
- Organize information and write documentation. Regularly collect the latest information on game development projects and update technical support content, accumulating technical support knowledge to provide reference for future project technical support.
- Assist with cross-language and team communication. In Chinese/Japanese environments, assist with basic communication and information alignment, supporting internal and external team communication to ensure smooth information transfer and professional attitude.
- Collaboration on technical support for game development projects.
Support communication between planning/development teams and the technical support team regarding technical questions that arise during game development projects to ensure smooth collaboration.
- Progress management and regular updates.
Regularly manage progress based on development requirements for technical support. Appropriately share and coordinate with stakeholders regarding issues encountered during the process, propose solutions, and follow through to implementation.
- Information organization and document creation.
Regularly collect and organize the latest information on game development projects and technical support-related content, accumulating knowledge for technical support to be used as reference material for future project support.
- Support for team communication in a multilingual environment.
In Chinese and Japanese environments, support basic communication and information alignment, and support collaboration within and outside the team to ensure smooth information transmission and professional conduct.
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program. Japanese native speakers are preferred. Proficiency in Chinese or English is a plus.
If Japanese is not your native language, you must have JLPT N1 or above and be able to communicate fluently in spoken and written Japanese. Proficiency in English is a plus.
- Passionate about games, with your own frequently played game genres and understanding of games. Basic understanding of game planning, engine development, and AI is a plus.
- Meticulous in work, with basic documentation writing skills and strong logical thinking abilities.
- Good Japanese communication skills.
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student. Japanese native speakers are preferred.
- Those with communication skills in Chinese or English are welcome.
- If Japanese is not your native language, you must have JLPT N1 or above and be able to communicate fluently in spoken and written Japanese. Proficiency in English is also desirable.
- Someone who loves games and has their own understanding of the game genres they play and games in general.
- Those with a basic understanding of game planning, game engine development, AI, etc., are welcome.
- Someone who can work meticulously on detailed tasks and has basic document creation skills.
- Someone with logical thinking skills and good at organizing information.
- Someone with high Japanese communication skills who can interact smoothly within and outside the team.
- Annual salary: Negotiable (with salary increases/bonuses)
*Compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, etc., and in accordance with our company regulations.
*For regular employees, this includes a fixed overtime allowance for 35 hours per month.
For management positions, this includes a fixed overtime allowance for 10 hours per month.
- Working hours: 09:30 ~ 18:30, Break time: 60 minutes
