Senior Solution Architect

This role is for a Senior Solution Architect within the Cloud & Smart Industries Group (CSIG). The position focuses on providing professional services, including business technology consultation, cloud solution training, and technical enablement to support Tencent Cloud’s international business growth. The architect will collaborate with international teams and partners to design architectures on the Tencent Cloud platform, guide customers through cloud migrations, and offer expertise in application and data migration. Additionally, the role involves coordinating cross-functional resources for pre-sales technical support and contributing to the development of Tencent Cloud’s global technology partner ecosystem by documenting technical solutions and industry use cases.

• Provide professional services, including business technology consultation, cloud solution training, and technical enablement to support Tencent Cloud’s international business growth.
• Collaborate with international architects and partners to design architecture on the Tencent Cloud platform.
• Guide customers and partners through system migration to the cloud, offering expertise in application and data migration, and supporting the development of applications and services on our platform.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources from product, service, and operations teams to provide robust pre-sales technical support for key partner projects and strategic opportunities.
• Participate in building and structuring Tencent Cloud’s global technology partner ecosystem.
• Contribute by summarizing and documenting technical solutions and industry-specific use cases.

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Over 5 years of hands-on experience in public or private cloud environments.
• A solid understanding of technologies and solutions from major cloud providers.
• Professional experience in at least two of the following domains: Software Development (proficient in Java, Python, or similar), System Operations & Maintenance, System Integration, Solution Design, Technical Consulting, Enterprise IT Systems & Architecture Management, Big Data, or AI.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and build trust with customer stakeholders at all levels.
• A strong customer-centric mindset, a rigorous and detail-oriented work ethic, and a deep sense of responsibility.
• A proven self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and a proactive attitude.
• Fluent English is mandatory.
• Proficiency in a major European language (e.g., Dutch, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese) and/or Mandarin Chinese is a significant plus.
