Tech Lead (Cyber Security Engineer)

We are seeking a dedicated Tech Lead (Cyber Security Engineer) to join our ambitious team. As part of the Global Information Security (GIS) organization, you will have a key role in deploying and managing security capabilities across our global enterprise. This opportunity allows you to work with various security functions and develop innovative solutions to improve our security posture.
- Lead the selection, testing, implementation, management, operations, and upkeep of Aristocrat's protective measures.
- Apply your cybersecurity engineering expertise to support programs, proposals, and corporate objectives.
- Work alongside cybersecurity operations and threat intelligence teams to drive ongoing improvements in security controls.
- Maintain timely and detailed reporting of the status and usage of security controls to executive-level management.
- Participate in the documentation of enterprise security solutions, supporting the development of global and internal processes.
- Develop technical security requirements aligned with organizational security policies and capabilities.
- Define and implement configurations for security controls across endpoints, cloud environments, DevSecOps, product security, and identity platforms.
- Track information security deficiencies and opportunities for risk improvement.
- Provide subject matter expertise on cybersecurity guidelines and strategies.
- Stay current with emerging security trends, technologies, and threats, suggesting improvements to Aristocrat’s security posture.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in information security, cybersecurity, information systems, computer science, or a related field, with 6+ years of relevant experience.
- 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity, focusing on building, implementation, and management of security solutions.
- Demonstrated experience working with a geographically dispersed team.
- Solid understanding and experience with security information event management platforms, intrusion detection systems, data streaming platforms, network security, endpoint security systems, cloud security, API security, and/or privileged access management systems.
- Expert knowledge of information security technologies, networking, cloud, and infrastructure architecture in a global capacity.
- Ability to manage complex troubleshooting issues and competing priorities under pressure.
- Proven ability to contribute to organizational critical thinking beyond your area of responsibility.
- Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, or other relevant certifications.
- Collaboration abilities and passion to contribute as a member of a unified team, both locally and internationally.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, including the ability to gather relevant data, actively listen, verbalize ideas effectively, negotiate tense situations successfully, and manage conflict.
