Business Intelligence Team Lead

As the Business Intelligence Team Lead, you will be instrumental in driving data-driven decision-making across our BI Product & Operational Teams. By collaborating closely with various departments, you will understand their unique business needs, align strategies with organizational goals and empower teams to leverage data effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Cultivate strong relationships with departments and stakeholders, understanding their daily operations and strategic objectives
  • Lead the BI product verticals along with its corresponding ops teams to deliver functional and user-friendly data products that enable business departments to make informed decisions
  • Develop growth plans for team members and create yearly roadmaps aligned with Kaizen's strategic objectives
  • Take ownership of team priorities, deliverables and planning on a frequent basis
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert across multiple streams, providing a holistic view of business priorities, needs and strategic goals
  • Foster an agile working environment, ensuring adaptability to changing priorities while meeting yearly objectives
  • Challenge existing metrics and KPIs, collaborating with the team to develop new ones that drive business growth
  • Advocate for a robust data-driven culture within the organization
Requirements
  • BSc & Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, mathematics, economics)
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar leadership role, while exhibiting exceptional team management skills, with the ability to set priorities in an ever changing environment
  • Experience in the gaming industry will be considered a strong plus
  • Strategic mindset with the capacity to engage effectively with senior stakeholders
  • Advanced technical proficiency in SQL, Python, Databricks and visualization tools
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management and translating business needs into technical requirements
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies will be considered a plus
