Payment Risk Associate / VBET - Mixed Shifts

VBET’s mission is to give our customers the best betting and gaming experience in a safe and secure environment. We are looking for a Payment Risk Associate to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Good knowledge/understanding of the game / betting rules (incl. the terminology what is WL, TK, Regulated Market, API, NGR, GGR, etc.).
  • Examine the customers betting history and payment activity, review their history and provide recommendation on actions to the team lead / take actions accordingly.
  • Knowledge of the Payment Providers by regions and how they work.
  • Analyze and monitor transactions, risk exposures to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Assist in ensuring that the company complies with relevant risk management standards / regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement risk control measures and best practices.
  • Investigate risk-related incidents, preparing detailed reports with findings and suggested actions.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to track key risk indicators and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Support in developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Review and execute the inquiries/tasks assigned.
  • Carry out other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor, which are in line with the job description and do not contradict the labor code.
Requirements
  • Sound problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends, assess risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Ability to identify and assess triggers that may lead to material risk exposure.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations, anti-fraud measures, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of risk assessment, fraud prevention, compliance, or related fields (in the gaming or financial sectors is a plus).
