Chargeback & Fraud Analyst
As a Chargeback & Fraud Analyst, you will play a key role in safeguarding our brands by mitigating losses due to fraudulent activities. Your primary responsibilities will include managing incoming chargebacks, conducting detailed account analyses, and running various reports. You will also be tasked with investigating fraud-related cases and bonus promotion abuse in collaboration with other departments and third parties. We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to identifying past and emerging fraud trends. Your ability to make critical decisions that balance security measures with business growth will be essential to your success in this role. Please note, this position involves working on a rotating shift schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Ensuring all disputes, RFIs, and CHBs with the different payment providers are accurately registered, actioned, and corrected in a timely manner
- Reviewing incoming fraud alerts and actioning appropriately to stop fraud at an early stage
- Reviewing accounts through various reports to identify, action and prevent bonus abuse
- Running daily reports on payment transactions and new registrations to ensure fraudulent and suspicious activity is spotted early to minimise risk to the company
- Analysing different data across all brands from past fraud accounts to find trends and outline risks
- Undertaking fraud investigations requested by other departments and 3rd parties
- Setting up and maintaining a live record of fraud trends to be shared on a regular basis with the Chargeback and Fraud team and other relevant departments
- Trying to minimise the financial loss of chargebacks by actively contacting players and disputing chargebacks
- Liaising with the team and Line Manager to improve the fraud procedures and processes

- Experience in online igaming (1+ years) (required)
- Experience in a fraud-related role (1+ years) (required)
- Previous chargeback experience and/or SEON knowledge would be considered an asset (preferred)
- Good Excel knowledge (required)
- Fluent professional level of English (both written and verbal) (required)
- Good communicator who is able to collaborate with other departments at various levels, as well as third parties (required)
- Meticulous eye for detail and analytical mindset (required)
- Ability to work as part of a team and also be accountable for own responsibilities (required)
