Security Architect IV
The Security Architect is responsible for developing next generation security architecture in hardware/software design. Analyzes, designs, integrates and tests multiple systems in complex environments. Reviews system implementations. Stays abreast of emerging security architectures and solutions and tracks industry standards, trends and practical problems with deployments. Incumbents possess in depth knowledge in secure systems engineering, cryptographic protocols, access control models, and secure operating systems. Incumbents are gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Incumbents are still occasionally directed in several aspects of their work. However more straightforward tasks are accomplished without assistance.
