Systems Engineer III
Responsible for Operating System (OS), software configurations, hardware and software designs, and installations for all systems in support of external customers, development groups, and internal delivery and product development groups. Also provides technical support for the same and assists in the evaluation of new technologies, design, benchmarking, testing and implementation. Takes part in delivery/product team meetings representing System Support Engineering. Systems setup from a hardware and software perspective. Configuration, deployment, support, maintenance, troubleshooting of web infrastructure services including, but not limited to: Redhat Linux or other distribution, Web facing load balancers (Coyote Point, F5, A10, etc.), Database (IBM DB2, Oracle, MySQL), VMWare ESXi and VSphere, Windows Server, OpenLDAP/SSSD, Experience with configuration management tools (Puppet, Ansible, etc), SAN Storage (NetApp, IBM Enterprise Storage), SMTP (Exim,Postfix), DNS (bind), Apache, JBoss, Tomcat, Squid Proxy. Ability to author scripts including, but not limited to, bash, python, java, Ruby. Must have excellent high-level knowledge of LAN networking and troubleshooting. Knowledge of Internet protocols. Familiarity with a multi-tiered web application (LAMP). Provides on call rotational third level mission critical support. Ability to implement critical solutions real-time. Aid in development and review of training materials for new and existing technology. Implement/manage change control procedures. Must demonstrate independent open source skill set, as well as advanced knowledge of popular platforms. Ability to travel when required. Must have knowledge of security and auditing procedures and compliancy.

- Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent.
- 2 to 6 years of practical system administration experience.
- Must possess an advanced knowledge in system administration and command language programming in the following operating systems: Red Hat Linux and Windows.
- Working experience with internet facing web server
