Associate Quality Assurance Engineer

Description

The person in this position is responsible for the quality and proper functionality of Light & Wonder systems, games and products.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases for new features and existing requirements
  • Verify that products meet technical standards and regulatory requirements
  • Investigate and reproduce problems reported by users or external testing teams
  • Validate hardware and firmware updates from vendors to ensure stability
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product releases
  • Provide feedback and suggest improvements for better quality and efficiency
  • Prepare and deliver periodic project and testing status reports
  • Log detailed defects with reproduction steps, severity, and impact
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science
  • 0 to 1 year of experience in Software Testing
  • Proficiency in software quality testing and assurance, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively document and convey information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and data analysis
  • Working knowledge of Windows OS and Linux environments
  • Familiarity with programming languages, scripting, test management tools, and defect tracking tools is preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with diverse professional teams
  • Ability to promptly engage and adapt to evolving project requirements.
  • Understanding of serial communication protocols
  • Knowledge as prompt engineering is a plus
