Junior Project Manager
As a Junior Project Manager, you will support the full lifecycle of game development, from early planning through to final delivery. Working closely with engineers, designers, and producers, you will help bring structure and clarity to complex, cross‑disciplinary programs. You’ll create clear, actionable project plans, manage software assets through Bills of Materials (BoMs), and coordinate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) to keep teams aligned and releases on track. This role requires strong organisational skills, clear communication, and a passion for building processes that enable great games to be delivered on time and at high quality. - In collaboration with UK PM’s and engineering create and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and milestone programs for all game development.
- Ensure all creators are visible on Oracle PLM and individual project teams are structured correctly.
- Track project time allocation and costs and liaise with the finance team.
- Jira project set up for all UK created products.
- Work with internal teams to allow smooth project flow through key gates.
- Participate in game reviews, capturing issues as appropriate.
- Build and maintain BoMs for software components, depending on game/platform needs.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and operations to ensure accurate BoM definitions, versioning, and availability for development, testing, and delivery.
- Track inventory changes, and component updates for software‑related items used across development and production.
- Own the ECO process for all UK products.
- Managing all changes impacting game related software components.
- Ensure all change requests (ECOs) are documented, reviewed, approved, and implemented according to internal quality and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, and operations to validate changes, update documentation, and communicate impacts across the program.
- Coordinate with the UK PM team and identify risks across schedule, resources, pipeline dependencies, global team bottlenecks, and certification.
- Drive mitigation plans, escalation paths, and data‑based decision making.
- Serve as a central communication hub for UK PM and cross functional global support teams.
- Provide structured reporting on program status, BoM updates, ECO progress, risks, build health, and budget considerations.
- Translate technical or creative developments into clear, actionable updates for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Experience in game development, production, or technical program management within software, hardware, or gaming environments.
- Proficiency with project planning, scheduling, dependency mapping, and risk management (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Oracle PLM).
- Hands‑on experience with BoM creation, software configuration management.
- Understanding of ECO processes, documentation standards, version control, and quality change management practices.
- Knowledge of game development pipelines (pre‑production through live ops), build systems, asset workflows, and QA processes.
- Strong cross‑functional communication and stakeholder management skills.
