Senior Compliance Manager

Description

The Senior Manager of Regulatory Compliance provides management support for all regulatory compliance activities across Light & Wonder’s iGaming division outside of North America and the Philippines. Reporting to the Senior Director, Regulatory Compliance, this helps ensure adherence to a broad spectrum of laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions. The position requires staying current with evolving legislation, to help navigate complex regulatory environments, and providing strategic proactive guidance to internal stakeholders. Strong management and communication skills are essential to effectively help manage cross-functional partnerships and support broader business, requirements, compliance and risk program initiatives. The role may require liaison with regulatory authorities and will serve as a trusted support to leadership on matters related to compliance and regulatory risk.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Senior Director, Regulatory Compliance and wider Business Unit to assist with iGaming growth strategies and associated regulatory impact.
  • Support iGaming entry or transition to new markets or jurisdictions ensuring full compliance with evolving regulations.
  • Support iGaming product compliance functions outside of North America in taking on product compliance responsibilities in newly entered markets. Ensure smooth handover to BAU ways of working.
  • Support the continuous evaluation and improvement of the Company’s iGaming regulatory compliance framework, including procedures and, where applicable, internal controls, to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Work with LNW licensing teams and iGaming business ensuring corporate compliance/licensing needs are met, as applicable.
  • Support proactive and collaborative relationships with regulatory authorities, as needed.
  • Support the continuous assessment of regulatory risks.
  • Stay current on responsible gambling best practices and related regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other job-related functions as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferable
  • Proven experience in regulatory compliance within highly regulated industries, preferably within the igaming or casino industry.
  • Strong understanding of global regulatory frameworks and jurisdictional requirements.
  • A broad understanding of gaming laws, casino operations, and regulatory frameworks across multiple jurisdictions is essential.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and cross-functional management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a strong ability to identify risks and recommend and if needed implement effective solutions.
  • Occasional travel may be required to support business objectives.
