Techops Trainees
The Techops Trainee role involves monitoring system performance, servers, and applications to ensure continuous uptime and reliability. The position focuses on supporting deployment activities, performing basic system administration, and assisting in the troubleshooting of technical issues within a fast-paced digital gaming environment.
- Monitor system performance, servers, and applications to ensure uptime and reliability.
- Perform basic Linux system administration tasks (user management, file permissions, process monitoring).
- Assist in troubleshooting system, network, and application issues.
- Support deployment and release activities for applications.
- Write simple scripts (Shell/Python) to automate routine operational tasks.
- Work with logs to identify issues and escalate when required.
- Maintain documentation of processes, incidents, and configurations.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams.
- Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems (commands, file systems, permissions) (required).
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS basics) (required).
- Familiarity with any programming in language (required).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills (required).
- Good communication and willingness to learn (required).
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field (or equivalent practical knowledge) (required).
- 0 to 6 months (preferred).
- Internship experience in Linux/TechOps/Support is a plus (nice-to-have).
- Quick learner with a proactive attitude (required).
- Ability to follow instructions and documentation (required).
- Team player with a collaborative mindset (required).
- Strong attention to detail (required).
- Flexible to work in shifts/on-call rotations if needed (required).
