Senior Affiliate Manager
The Senior Affiliate Manager (Tier 1) is a high-ownership role within the PartnerMatrix Managed Services (AMS) team. This person takes full responsibility for a portfolio of iGaming operator clients in established, high-competition markets — managing their affiliate programs end-to-end, growing affiliate traffic, and delivering measurable NGR impact across Tier 1 GEOs including the UK, Germany, Sweden, Netherlands, Canada, Australia, etc. The role requires deep industry expertise, strong affiliate relationships, and the ability to operate independently in regulated environments.
- Own and manage affiliate programs for several assigned iGaming operator clients from day one.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned operators, regular calls, strategy alignment, performance reviews.
- Define and execute affiliate program strategy: GEO targets, payout models (CPA / RevShare / Hybrid), traffic mix goals.
- Set up, configure, and maintain affiliate programs within the PartnerMatrix (PMA) platform.
- Proactively identify and action program improvements; escalate blockers to the Head of Managed Services and Marketing with proposed solutions.
- Identify, outreach and onboard high-quality affiliates matching each operator's target GEO and vertical.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with affiliates — be the trusted partner they call first.
- Negotiate CPA rates, RevShare deals, and hybrid structures on behalf of operators within approved guidelines.
- Run regular check-ins with top-performing affiliates; identify upsell and cross-program opportunities.
- Maintain an updated affiliate pipeline per client, track deal status and conversion from outreach to activation.
- Ensure all managed affiliates have completed KYC/AML onboarding before activation without exceptions.
- Monitor affiliate traffic quality daily, flag fraud signals, bonus abuse patterns, unusual conversion spikes.
- Coordinate payment data reconciliation with Finance; review payout files before submission.
- Manage affiliate communications via PMA ticketing system; maintain sub-24h response SLA.
- Maintain accurate documentation of affiliate deals, contracts and status in the CRM.
- Deliver weekly performance reports to each assigned operator (traffic, FTDs, conversions, NGR impact).
- Conduct monthly strategy review calls with operators; present data-driven recommendations.
- Track KPIs: active affiliate count, payout-to-NGR ratio, new FTDs/month, affiliate retention rate.
- Feed insights back to Head of MS for cross-client benchmarking and program strategy refinement.
- Contribute to quarterly competitive landscape reviews, flag shifts in affiliate market, rates or GEO trends.
- Mentor and support Middle Affiliate Managers — share playbooks, deal structures, GEO learnings.
- Document processes and best practices for team knowledge base.
- Participate in team calls, contribute to pricing decisions and product feedback for PMA development.
