Legal Contract Lawyer
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Contract Manager (Legal) to take full ownership of our third-party vendor contracts. This operational role requires a pragmatic, hands-on professional who can quickly standardize our contracting process and mitigate commercial risks.
- Assess the current state of vendor agreements (approx. 50-60 external contractors) and develop several streamlined, legally sound contract templates for routine operational and marketing expenditures
- Create and manage a library of standardized contract documents, ensuring ease of use for internal departments (e.g., Marketing, Operations) to significantly reduce time-to-signature
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle for new and existing contracts, including drafting, execution, revisions, amendments, and renewals
- Conduct initial risk assessments on existing and proposed contracts, identifying crucial clauses and necessary adjustments before execution
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams (especially Marketing) to provide guidance on contract preparation and compliance
- Ensure all regional contract needs and changes are aligned with the new directorate structure being established in each territory
- Collaborate with the centralized legal team for review of complex international agreements and high-risk contracts
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Contract Manager, Commercial Manager, Lawyer, Legal Counsel or similar role focused on high-volume contract administration (required)
- Experience working within the iGaming or betting sector is highly preferred (preferred)
- Strong, demonstrable knowledge and hands-on experience in contract management, drafting, and interpretation (required)
- Proven ability to implement new processes and templates that improve efficiency and significantly speed up internal workflows (required)
- Comfortable working autonomously and serving as the primary commercial/contractual expert within the local team (required)
- Fluent English and Brazilian Portuguese are mandatory (required)
