Senior SEO Specialist (Link Acquisition)
We are looking for a senior SEO to come and take ownership of our link acquisition strategy across all brands. Reporting to the Head of SEO, you will have the resources and support you need to accelerate our growth in some of the world’s most competitive markets. This is not an ordinary link building role, the right candidate will have a clear sense of ROI, understand the needs of unique markets and have a clear vision of how to improve visibility in both traditional search while looking towards an increasingly AI dominated future.
- Own and deliver Superbet’s link acquisition strategy across all brands and markets, focusing on sustainable, high quality growth.
- Manage and optimise a six figure link budget, ensuring spend is efficient and aligned to performance targets.
- Drive measurable outcomes, linking activity to uplift in rankings, organic traffic, and revenue (where measurable) with clear reporting that connects spend to impact.
- Monitor, orchestrate, and respond to brand mentions across the web: coordinate light-touch outreach, relationship building, and follow-ups to convert coverage into value.
- Work with in-house PR and brand teams to identify opportunities and negotiate earned placements and coverage aligned to brand and SEO goals.
- Own link reclamation and cleanup: identify and recover lost links, fix broken linked pages, and convert unlinked brand mentions into credited mentions/links where appropriate.
- Lead competitor backlink and earned visibility analysis to identify gaps, replicable wins, and market-specific opportunities; translate insights into a prioritised execution plan.
- Build AI/LLM search visibility and brand preference signals by growing credible third-party coverage, strengthening entity/brand signals, and working with owned domains, affiliates, and partners to develop high-quality comparison and informational content that supports AI-assisted discovery.
- Influence and educate stakeholders across the business on the commercial value of authority building and backlinks using clear, non-technical communication and evidence.
- 5+ years of experience in SEO, with at least 3 years specifically focused on high-scale link acquisition, Digital PR, or Authority Building.
- Proven experience managing substantial budgets with a track record of delivering measurable ROI.
- Mastery of SEO and backlink analysis tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Majestic, and Moz.
- Proficiency in Google Search Console and Google Analytics (GA4) for performance tracking is essential.
- Ability to translate complex SEO concepts into "business speak" for stakeholders and brand partners. You should be as comfortable in a spreadsheet as you are in a creative brainstorming session.
- Strong data literacy; you should be able to run "test and learn" experiments, document results, and use data to pivot strategies in real-time.
- A deep understanding of how search is evolving, including the impact of AI/LLMs on brand visibility and the importance of E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness).
