Senior Business Development Manager/Director

We leverage rich IP resources from literature, anime, movies, and TV to maximize the potential of games and actively collaborate with game developers and publishers to create top-tier interactive entertainment experiences.
- Develop strategic partnerships with our gaming and entertainment Key Account partners in Japan.
- Build and maintain close relationship with key decision-makers and key creators, coordinate internal and external communication, solve important bottlenecks in negotiation and collaboration, improve cooperation efficiency, and think outside of the box to identify new angles for working together.
- Analyze Japanese game market and assist our head of Japan Business Development in developing commercial partnership and investment strategies. to capture present and future opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree or above, experienced game industry professional with 10+ years in the industry.
- Business and partner relationship management experience with well-known gaming companies, capable of managing top level strategic relationships, and solving complex cooperative problems tactfully.
- Well-connected among game producers, directors and senior management at major Japanese game companies. Able to proactively build solid relationships with key creators and decision-makers.
- Deep understanding of the gaming industry including development and publishing processes. Experience in collaborating with well-known companies in other entertainment industries is a plus.
- Possess strategic thinking abilities, a good sense of the big picture, strong logical thinking. Prior background in consulting or investment industries is preferred but not a must.
- Native in Japanese language, a second language of English or Chinese is a plus. Excellent communication skills, strong resistance to challenges
- Annual salary: Negotiable (with raises/bonuses)
- Fixed overtime allowance included (35 hours/month for general employees, 10 hours/month for management)
- Working hours: 09:30 - 18:30, 60-minute break
- Flextime available
- Complete two-day weekend (Saturday/Sunday/Holidays)
- Paid leave: Pro-rated based on start month in the first year, up to 22 days based on years of service
