Senior Strategic Sales Executive
Tencent Cloud is looking for a results-oriented and commercially astute Senior Strategic Sales Executive to drive cloud adoption across the broader internet sector, including fast-growing digital-native businesses, platforms, and cross-border internet enterprises. This role is ideal for someone who understands the fast-evolving dynamics of internet clients and can connect Tencent Cloud’s infrastructure, security, and platform solutions to their technical and commercial needs. You will play a key role in expanding our presence across regional markets by managing complex deal cycles, engaging senior stakeholders, and shaping scalable growth strategies.
- Acquire and grow strategic internet accounts across social, gaming, e-commerce, media, and other digital-native verticals.
- Build trusted relationships with C-level decision-makers, product owners, and engineering leaders to position Tencent Cloud as a long-term strategic partner.
- Understand the unique infrastructure, compliance, and performance demands of internet workloads; match those needs with Tencent Cloud’s IaaS, PaaS, and security product offerings.
- Work closely with internal cross-functional teams including pre-sales, product, engineering, and legal to shape solution proposals and close complex deals.
- Develop region-specific go-to-market strategies informed by market intelligence, industry trends, and platform-specific requirements.
- Represent Tencent Cloud at industry forums and client workshops to elevate product visibility and deepen client engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of cloud solution sales experience, preferably with internet clients or digital-native enterprises.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, content delivery, security architecture, and scaling considerations typical in internet-facing applications.
- Demonstrated success in engaging and influencing both technical (e.g., CTOs, engineers) and business (e.g., product leads, GMs) stakeholders.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is required to communicate effectively with regional teams and clients.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership, adaptability, and collaborative spirit in a high-growth, cross-cultural setting.
