FP&A Manager
At Trustly, we are transforming the way the world pays. As the FP&A Manager, you will be a cornerstone of our Finance function. Reporting directly to the FP&A Director, you will hold a high-impact, high-visibility position as a senior member of the team. Your mission is twofold: ensuring the board-level precision of our financial reporting and acting as a catalyst for change. You won’t just manage data; you will modernize how we use it - leveraging AI and automation to turn complex financial narratives into strategic roadmaps for the management team and the Board of Directors.
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of all Group-level financial reporting, including monthly performance reviews, quarterly board decks, and annual reports.
- Synthesize complex financial results into clear, actionable insights for the Executive Management Team and the Board.
- Drive the Group-wide budgeting and rolling forecast processes, ensuring alignment between departmental goals and Trustly’s long-term strategy.
- Establish and enforce unified FP&A frameworks and KPIs across all business units to ensure a single source of truth.
- Identify bottlenecks in the current reporting cycle and implement automated workflows to reduce manual intervention and cycle times.
- Act as the lead stakeholder for FP&A tool enhancements to maximize ROI from our tech stack.
- Proactively explore and implement AI and Machine Learning solutions for predictive modeling, anomaly detection, and variance analysis.
- Partner with the Data and BI teams to improve data hygiene and accessibility, ensuring the finance team remains at the cutting edge of Fintech innovation.
- Act as a mentor and technical lead for junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and analytical rigor.
- Work closely with cross-functional leaders (Product, Engineering, Sales) to provide financial clarity on strategic initiatives.
- 6+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or Strategic Finance, ideally within a high-growth Fintech, Tech, or Payments environment.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and ERP/CPM systems.
- A proven track record of implementing automation tools or BI dashboards (PowerBI/Tableau).
- A genuine curiosity and practical interest in how Generative AI and predictive analytics can be applied to financial workflows.
- Exceptional ability to "tell the story" behind the numbers to non-finance executives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications (CFA, CIMA, ACCA, or MBA) are a strong plus.
