Director, Procurement Operations

As the Director of Procurement Operations, you will play a meaningful role in strengthening the company’s Source-to-Pay operating model. This role serves as the governance backbone of Procurement, ensuring consistency, rigor, and scalability across intake, purchasing processes, and reporting. You will work in close partnership with the Accounts Payable function to align end-to-end processes, while supporting the organization’s transition toward a future coordinated Source-to-Pay model. - Lead the Buying Team to ensure accurate PO creation and contract alignment
- Develop scalable operating models to support business growth and operational efficiency
- Drive process rigor and consistency across all procurement activities
- Adjust and improve procurement platforms (ERP, intake tools, workflow systems), including LevelPath
- Lead automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve process efficiency
- Establish dashboards covering compliance, cycle times, and policy adherence
- Collaborate closely with the AP Director to improve process flow, reduce invoice exceptions, and improve data accuracy
- Support improvements in invoice matching rates and vendor onboarding processes
- Establish operational controls supporting supplier lifecycle governance
- Assist in the shift toward a consolidated Source-to-Pay approach
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across Procurement, Finance, Legal, and business collaborators
- Enable data-driven decision-making through improved reporting and analytics
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field; an MBA or comparable experience is preferred.
- 10+ years in procurement, P2P operations, or sourcing with 5+ years leading global teams.
- Experience operating in a shared service or matrixed environment.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred), intake tools, workflow systems, and analytics platforms.
- Proven experience improving PR-to-PO compliance and reducing downstream invoice issues.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate closely with AP functions, improving overall performance.
- Outstanding leadership skills with a focus on team development and change management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, demonstrated through careful evaluation and improvement of processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across diverse teams.
