Lead AI & Graphic Designer

Description

BrainRocket is a global company creating end-to-end tech products for clients across Fintech, iGaming, and Marketing. Young, ambitious, and unstoppable, we've already taken Cyprus, Malta, Portugal, Poland, and Serbia by storm. Our BRO team consists of 1,300 bright minds creating innovative ideas and products. We don’t follow formats. We shape them. We build what works, launch it fast, and make sure it hits.

❗️Please note that this role is office-based for Serbia.

❗️If you need to be relocated, we take care of the process.

We are looking for a Lead AI & Graphic Designer who will drive the shift from traditional photo production to fully AI-generated visual content for advertising campaigns. This role is for someone who understands how to create high-converting promotional creatives featuring realistic, relatable people — without a camera.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the transition from classic photo shoots to AI-generated visual production workflows across campaigns;
  • Direct and oversee the creation of people-focused advertising visuals using AI image generation tools (Midjourney, Flux, Firefly, Kling, etc.);
  • Develop and maintain scalable AI pipelines for concept generation, character consistency, background creation, and asset optimization;
  • Lead and mentor a team of AI artists and graphic designers, setting quality standards and creative direction;
  • Oversee retouching and post-processing to ensure a polished, premium look while maintaining a realistic, non-AI-looking aesthetic;
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously from concept to final delivery;
  • Review and quality-control all AI-generated materials for visual accuracy, brand alignment, and campaign effectiveness;
  • Be a role model for the team and foster a positive, innovation-driven, creative culture.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in visual production, graphic design, or art direction — ideally with a transition into AI-driven workflows;
  • Proven track record creating advertising visuals centred around people in realistic, relatable, lifestyle or narrative settings — using AI tools rather than traditional photography;
  • Deep hands-on expertise with AI image generation tools (Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, Adobe Firefly, Flux, or similar);
  • Strong understanding of prompt engineering, ControlNet, inpainting, and character consistency techniques;
  • Experience directing "staged fantasy" scenes — scripting and producing complex, story-driven visuals that blend realism with imaginative concepts, entirely through AI;
  • Expert eye for retouching direction: ability to guide post-processing that avoids the over-generated, artificial look;
  • Understanding of production pipelines, technical budgeting, and workflow optimisation in an AI-first environment;
  • Strong aesthetic sensibility with the ability to lead, inspire, and grow a diverse team of designers and AI artists;
  • Attention to visual detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
  • Advanced level of English.
Benefits
  • Modern office in New Belgrade;
  • 24 vacation days annually;
  • 6 sick days without a medical certificate;
  • Premium Health Insurance (coverage up to 5,000 EUR annually);
  • Special occasion gifts: birthday, wedding, newborn;
  • Learning & Development budget (for conferences, courses, and certifications);
  • Corporate events: international parties, team buildings, activities;
  • Career growth opportunities in a fast-growing company;
  • Relocation package for international candidates (if you're not in Serbia);
  • Sports package (FitPass membership);
  • Language classes: Serbian & English (company-covered).
