Team Lead Back-end Developer (Node.js)

Description

We are looking for a skilled Team Lead Back-end Developer (Node.js) to join our team in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. This role is office-based for Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. If you need to be relocated, we take care of the process.

Responsibilities
  • Being transparent with the team about challenges, failures, and successes
  • Hiring and training technical personnel
  • Determining project requirements and developing work schedules for the team
  • Delegating tasks and achieving daily, weekly, and monthly goals
  • Liaising with team members and management to ensure projects are completed to standard
  • Motivating staff and creating a space where they can ask questions and voice their concerns
  • Delegating work and assignments to team members
  • Collaborating with their team to identify and fix technical problems
  • In-house platform development
  • 3rd party API integrations
  • Actively participate in developing new features from scratch
Requirements
  • At least 8+ years of experience, 3+ years in leadership
  • Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities
  • Knowledge of JavaScript and the ECMAScript 6 standards
  • 3+ years of commercial experience with Node.js
  • 5+ years of commercial experience in web development
  • Commercial experience of working with DB
  • Commercial experience in implementing REST and WebSockets
  • Experience of GIT version control system
  • Experience with databases MySQL
  • Experience with RabbitMQ
  • Experience with Redis
  • Experience with TypeScript (Nice to Have)
  • Advanced level of English
