Senior HRIS Specialist
Reporting to the HRIS Manager, this individual will be responsible for leadership and guidance relating to all facets of the operational Workday HRIS (Human Resource Information System), including project management of new HRIS implementations, configuration of the system and assisting the HRIS Specialist with ongoing maintenance/support of the Workday HRIS. Although the central system is Workday, there are various other functional specific applications. This role will work closely with key stakeholders to develop solutions, ensure data consistency, data integrity and accurate generation and reporting of information. Your drive and ideas will help us move faster, improve smarter, and stay ahead of the game.
- Lead and provide a project management service in relation to new HRIS implementations.
- Manage project and support governance relating to the Workday and related HRIS.
- System Administrator for the whole HR and Payroll-input system, providing trouble shooting support, liaison with the system provider to resolve issues.
- Work closely with the super-users in other companies in the group, to ensure full alignment of changes affecting global workflows.
- Assist with the implementations of new system functionality or modules.
- Be a system super-user for the HR system and provide support to the HR team and the business.
- Manage all system updates in close liaison with all stakeholders including IT, HR and Payroll users, employees and managers.
- Lead knowledge share / transfer in terms of HR competencies related to the HRIS.
- Support HR projects in line with the Business Strategy.
- Provide support on HR administration auditing and processes.
- Create and update HR documentation, including policies, process, FAQ’s and ensuring the HR intranet is always up to date.
- Relevant tertiary qualification is essential (required).
- Experience with configuring HRIS business processes, notifications and workflows are essential (required).
- Experience in design patterns including configuration and quality assurance (required).
- Deep understanding of the following functional areas: Workday Absence, Time Off and Time Tracking (required).
- Lead the configuration, testing and deployment of Workday Absence, Time Off and Time Tracking (required).
- Strong understanding of global leave regulations across our deployment geos (required).
- Strong experience with Workday calculated fields, business processes and reporting (required).
- Maintain and enhance global absence plans, accruals, eligibility rules, leave types, time off calendars, time types, project-related and all related absence and time tracking configuration (required).
- Ability to design and develop technical solutions that meet business requirements (required).
- Ability to consider holistic impact of changes being implemented (required).
- Understanding of integration and reporting process (required).
- Experience in leading large ERP implementation and support environments, including specific knowledge of HRIS (required).
- Experience working with a diverse set of stakeholders (required).
- In-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types and market trends (preferred).
- Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations (preferred).
- Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standards (preferred).
- Partner with internal stakeholders (HR and Payroll) to ensure seamless workflows and 100% data accuracy (required).
