Junior Specialist of Video Streaming
Description
This role exists to ensure our users never miss a second of the action. You’ll help us drive user retention and engagement by maintaining a flawless library of live video content and pitch animations, ensuring every event on our platform is powered by high-quality, real-time data.
Responsibilities
- Own the mapping of live video streams and pitch animations to specific sports events on the platform.
- Expand the streaming database by proactively searching for and integrating alternative content sources.
- Ensure the accuracy of sports content by cross-referencing data with internal tracking systems.
- Monitor sports content and data tracking in real-time to prevent service gaps.
- Identify and track non-working or incorrectly functioning broadcasts and animations.
- Maintain and update databases, ensuring all information is structured and easily accessible for other teams.
- Partner with content providers to resolve technical streaming issues swiftly.
- Support clients by diagnosing and fixing video streaming disruptions.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to process requests and escalate critical bugs.
Requirements
- Solid knowledge of various sports, rules, and the structure of international leagues/tournaments.
- Ability to handle large volumes of data with high attention to detail and proficiency in Google Sheets/MS Excel.
- Confident PC user with an understanding of streaming platforms (YouTube, Twitch, etc.).
- English at a B1 level or higher (capable of professional written communication), native Ukrainian or Russian.
- Ready to work in a fast-paced environment with a shift-based schedule (including morning and evening rotations).
- Ability to quickly identify root causes of operational issues under pressure.
- Previous experience in a support or monitoring role within the iGaming or Sportsbook industry (nice-to-have).
- Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas and data visualization) (nice-to-have).
- Experience working with external B2B content providers (nice-to-have).
