Compensation Manager
We're looking for a strategic and analytical Compensation Manager to join our People & Culture team. In this role, you'll help shape and execute compensation programmes that attract, motivate, and retain top talent across the organisation. You'll partner closely with business leaders, HR teams, and senior leadership to provide compensation expertise, market insights, and data-driven recommendations that support business objectives. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to broad-based compensation programmes, sales incentive plans, and select executive compensation initiatives while helping drive the organisation's overall compensation strategy.
- Lead compensation analysis, job evaluations, and market pricing activities to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices.
- Provide compensation recommendations for new hires, promotions, transfers, and organisational changes.
- Participate in salary surveys, benchmarking studies, and labour market research to support compensation strategy and decision-making.
- Support the design, administration, and continuous improvement of compensation programmes, including annual salary reviews, bonus programmes, and sales incentive plans.
- Partner with leaders and HR teams to ensure compensation practices align with business needs, market trends, and company philosophy.
- Manage salary structures, job families, pay grades, and compensation data while maintaining internal equity and compliance.
- Review and maintain job descriptions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and applicable FLSA standards.
- Develop reporting, workforce analytics, and compensation models that provide actionable insights for leadership.
- Support executive compensation initiatives, including equity programmes and compensation-related activities for senior leadership.
- Evaluate compensation systems and processes, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reporting, and user experience.
- Lead and support special projects and strategic initiatives as needed.
- 7+ years of progressive compensation experience. (required)
- Strong expertise in compensation analysis, job evaluation, and market pricing. (required)
- Advanced Excel skills with experience building financial or compensation models. (required)
- Experience working within HRIS platforms, preferably SuccessFactors. (required)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail. (required)
- Experience administering salary structures, compensation programmes, and incentive plans. (required)
- Working knowledge of compensation regulations, including FLSA requirements and job classification practices. (required)
- Excellent communication and consulting skills, with the ability to explain compensation concepts to a variety of audiences. (required)
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification is a plus. (nice-to-have)
- Prior people leadership experience is preferred but not required. (preferred)
