Director, Global Benefits
The Director of Global Benefits is a hands‑on, strategic leader responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive employee benefits programs across IGT’s global locations. This person acts as a player‑coach — balancing strategic vision with day‑to‑day operational leadership — while driving innovation, change management, and continuous improvement across all benefits programs. Working in a fast‑paced and evolving environment, this leader ensures offerings are competitive, cost‑effective, compliant, and aligned with IGT’s culture, values, and workforce strategy. The role partners closely with regional People & Culture leaders, Finance, Legal, and global vendors to deliver a world‑class employee experience.
- Develop and execute a global benefits strategy aligned to business growth and workforce needs.
- Lead and develop a high-performing global benefits team.
- Align programs with organizational values, employee experience goals, and funding models (self- and fully insured).
- Design and oversee health, retirement, wellness, and leave programs across all countries of operation.
- Ensure global consistency while adapting to local market and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor compliance with international benefits laws and regulations.
- Partner with Legal, Finance, and P&C on audits, reporting, and risk mitigation.
- Manage global vendor relationships, including brokers, insurers, and consultants.
- Oversee benefits budgets, cost modeling, and financial forecasting.
- Drive clear, inclusive benefits communications and lead global open enrollment and change initiatives.
- Collaborate with regional P&C, Total Rewards, and People Operations teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in benefits management, with at least 5 years in a global or multinational role.
- Proven success in designing and managing international benefits programs.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing global vendors.
- CEBS, GPHR, or similar certification is a plus.
- Prior SAP and SuccessFactors Employee Central experience
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to audit data and recognize data issues and inconsistencies
