EMEA/APAC Compensation Manager
We are seeking an experienced Compensation Manager to lead compensation programs, processes, and strategic initiatives across the EMEA and APAC regions during an exciting period of organisational integration and transformation. This highly collaborative role will partner closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, People Operations, Finance, and business leadership to design and administer compensation programmes that attract, retain, and motivate top talent while ensuring market competitiveness, internal equity, and regulatory compliance across multiple countries and jurisdictions. This role operates with a high degree of independence and strategic influence, balancing regional business needs with global compensation philosophy and governance. Success will be measured through effective compensation programme delivery, operational excellence, stakeholder partnership, market competitiveness, compliance, and continuous process improvement.
- Lead the administration and delivery of compensation programmes and initiatives across EMEA and APAC, including salary structures, market benchmarking, job evaluations, incentive programmes, and compensation planning activities.
- Partner with HR Business Partners, recruiters, People Operations, and business leaders to provide compensation guidance and recommendations aligned with business strategy and market trends.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on compensation philosophy, market competitiveness, pay equity, job architecture, and compensation best practices across multiple international regions.
- Participate in the design, implementation, communication, and administration of annual compensation cycles including merit increases, bonus planning, and salary review processes.
- Conduct compensation analyses, market pricing, labour market studies, and internal equity reviews to support organisational decision-making.
- Lead compensation intake sessions and consultations with managers and HR stakeholders to support organisational changes, promotions, new hire offers, and workforce planning initiatives.
- Create, review, revise, and maintain job descriptions while ensuring alignment with organisational structures, market data, and applicable employment regulations.
- Ensure compliance with international, regional, and local compensation-related laws and regulations, including pay transparency and classification requirements where applicable.
- Manage compensation data, reporting, dashboards, and analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Evaluate and optimise compensation systems, tools, and processes to improve operational efficiency, user experience, data integrity, and scalability.
- Support audits, governance activities, and compensation documentation processes while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and data accuracy.
- Lead or contribute to global and regional compensation projects, organisational initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and guidance to compensation or HR team members as applicable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 8–10 years of progressive compensation experience, including international compensation administration and analytics.
- Experience supporting EMEA and/or APAC compensation programmes within a global or matrixed organisation.
- Strong understanding of compensation principles, market pricing methodologies, salary structures, and incentive programmes.
- Knowledge of international compensation regulations, pay practices, and compliance considerations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Demonstrated analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving capabilities with strong attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills with experience working with compensation planning tools, HRIS platforms, and reporting systems.
- Ability to interpret and communicate complex compensation concepts to business leaders and employees in a clear and consultative manner.
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience managing compensation projects, timelines, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- CCP certification or equivalent compensation certification preferred.
