Fraud Operations Specialist (Part-time)

Description

The fraud space is evolving and growing at Trustly. The Fraud Operations function ensures that Trustly’s products and processes deliver robust fraud mitigation while preserving a great customer experience and supporting Trustly’s growth. We are looking for a part-time Fraud Operations Specialist for 20 hours a week, who can process fraud escalations in a timely manner. You will process fraud escalations in a timely manner, using an inquisitive mindset to ascertain fraud typology. We’re looking for a specialist, perhaps a student looking for their next challenge, who wants to shape our future fraud strategy and effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Process fraud escalation claims in a timely manner
  • Work in a collaborative and cross-functional way to proactively identify, investigate, and address fraud concerns
  • Collaborate with our Banking Partners and Merchants to gain a full understanding of the fraud concerns
  • Process APP Reimbursement claims, providing a thorough investigation and determining the liability outcome
  • Identify opportunities for improvement of the current methods through data-analysis, testing, and tracking
Requirements
  • Have an understanding of fraud typologies and fraud risks
  • Ability to effectively process escalation tickets and follow operational processes
  • Ability to work with fraud detection tools and improving / optimising the coverage
  • Excited to work in a dynamic and fast-changing environment with the ability to adapt to the business challenges in front of you
  • Strong stakeholder management to be able to communicate clearly with other parts of the organization, explain fraud and our processes as well as manage expectations
  • Naturally curious and proactive; while experience documenting and optimizing business processes is a plus, your passion for taking the initiative and learning is what truly sets you apart
