Content Writer - Prediction Markets

Description

Action Network, a leader in the sports betting media space, is launching a new vertical focused on coverage of politics, culture, entertainment, and more as it relates to prediction markets. Prediction markets enable investment in specific outcomes of events using financial incentives and seek to be the world’s “source of truth” for predicting what’s to come.

You’ll build this vertical into one that gets eyeballs but also helps shed light on politics and entertainment through the eyes of probability and market movement. You’ll help readers better understand what to look for, how to look for it, and why prediction market pricing is important.

Responsibilities
  • Write content for a new vertical focused on prediction markets
  • Drive traffic to stories about politics, entertainment, culture and more
  • Use SEO, Reddit, Google Discover and other mediums to take advantage of viral content opportunities
  • Collaborate with editors and SEO professionals to maximize reach and impact
Requirements
  • Experience in digital media or online writing
  • Ability to write for the modern web and build an audience
  • Covered or interested in U.S. politics, entertainment, and/or culture
  • Basic understanding of probability and betting markets
