HR Operations and Relocation Specialist

Description

We are looking for a HR Operations Specialist to join our fast-paced team in Belgrade. This role is a strategic blend of HR administration and relocation coordination, designed for someone who thrives on building "single source of truth" systems while ensuring our people are supported by seamless, error-free financial and administrative operations.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the internal lead for HiBob, ensuring a "single source of truth" for employee data across Serbia and remote locations.
  • Facilitate the end-to-end relocation process, including visa applications, work permits, and residency documentation for international hires.
  • Audit data flows to automate manual tasks and streamline the employee administrative experience.
  • Proactively manage Serbian health, fire safety, and labor law documentation to maintain a "compliance-first" culture.
  • Monitor leave trends and absence tracking to support workforce planning.
  • Partner with external providers to ensure the Belgrade team is paid accurately and on time through meticulous data validation.
  • Bridging the gap between HR and Finance through transparent payroll audits and reconciliations.
  • Executing annual salary reviews and bonus cycles with precision and confidentiality.
  • Drive cross-country projects that align Serbian administrative standards with our global People Operations strategy.
Requirements
  • Native-level Serbian and proficient English
  • 2+ years of experience in HR Operations or Administration or similar generalist role
  • Experience with relocation processes, including visas, work permits, and residency support
  • Experience in international or tech/startup environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences
  • Hands-on experience with HiBob or similar HRIS system (Workday, Zoho, BambooHR)
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables)
  • Knowledge of Serbian Labor Law
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety (BZR) and Fire safety procedures
  • Understanding of the Serbian payroll cycle, taxes, and contributions
