Sports Manager

Description

This is an on-site position for a Sports Manager in the Warsaw office. The role involves managing a team of Sportsbook professionals and ensuring their performance aligns with overall objectives and strategies. The manager will be responsible for creating, designing, and implementing policies and processes, overseeing the implementation of new technologies, and working with internal teams to improve workflows. A key aspect of the role is mentoring and motivating teams to achieve happiness, productivity, and engagement.

Responsibilities
  • Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential losses and maintain a balanced book.
  • Stay updated on the latest sports news, statistics, and trends to make informed decisions on odds adjustments.
  • Ensure a high level of customer service is maintained, addressing customer inquiries and issues promptly.
  • Stay informed about changes in sports betting legislation and make necessary adjustments to operations.
  • Generate reports on key performance metrics, such as betting volume, revenue, and customer behavior.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions to improve profitability.
  • Ensuring the team’s performance matches overall objectives and strategies.
  • Reporting on performance and suggesting improvements.
  • Create, design, and implement policies and processes.
  • Overseeing the implementation of any new technologies/solutions throughout the area.
  • Working with internal teams to continually find improved ways of working.
  • Mentoring and motivating your teams to achieve happiness, productivity and engagement.
  • Reports and analyzes organization performance, charts, reports, and manuals.
  • Prepares and proposes methods and procedures for revision, changes workflows, and undertakes methods to solve organizational problems.
  • Periodically evaluate existing customers according to established policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate, implement, schedule and report all e-mailing matters.
  • Keep up-to-date with new products, launches, offers, and new brand ideas.
  • Identify further opportunities to secure business continuity with existing clients.
  • Keep up-to-date on regulatory and compliance matters to ensure compliance with legal regulations.
  • Operate efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, working on multiple tasks with a variety of departments, divisions, and team member’s involvement.
Requirements
  • Ability to manage and lead a teams of Sportsbook professionals, developing and motivating team members
  • Experience in a similar role would be considered a strong advantage
  • Previous experience in the gaming and betting industry would be an advantage
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Good communication and problem solving skills
  • Perfect time management skills
  • Ability to work in a multitasking environment
  • English - Advanced level.
