Team Lead of Process Automation

Description

We are looking for a strategic yet hands-on Team Lead of Process Automation to bridge the gap between technical execution and operational excellence. This role is a unique hybrid, requiring a "front-line" leader who possesses deep technical expertise in Jira (DC and Cloud) and automation tools, alongside the maturity of an experienced Operations and Process Manager.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary expert for Jira DC + Cloud , Confluence , and Scriptrunner
Design and implement automated workflows using n8n and Scriptrunner to reduce manual labor and enhance organizational productivity
Proactively identify opportunities to integrate AI tools into existing processes to drive innovation and efficiency—a major focus for this role
Analyze existing processes within our 100+ employee organization, utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile methodologies to eliminate inefficiencies
Lead quarterly planning cycles and execute change management strategies (using frameworks like ADKAR or Kotter) to ensure smooth transitions to new tools
Create dashboards and reports (Power BI, eazyBI) to track process metrics and provide actionable recommendations to senior management
Manage and mentor a small team, providing clear direction while remaining personally involved in high-stakes technical tasks
Conduct regular 1-on-1s, set performance goals, and develop individual growth plans
Foster a positive work culture by mediating conflicts, celebrating wins, and protecting the team’s bandwidth from scope creep

Requirements

3 + years in Business Process Management (BPM) or Operational Excellence (OpEx)
Expert-level proficiency in Jira (DC & Cloud) , Confluence , and Scriptrunner
Proven experience building integrations and automations (e.g., using n8n or similar logic-based tools)
A track record of leading small teams and managing stakeholders across different departments
Professional fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential
