Team Lead of Process Automation

Description

We are looking for a strategic yet hands-on Team Lead of Process Automation to bridge the gap between technical execution and operational excellence. This role is a unique hybrid, requiring a "front-line" leader who possesses deep technical expertise in Jira (DC and Cloud) and automation tools, alongside the maturity of an experienced Operations and Process Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary expert for Jira DC + Cloud , Confluence , and Scriptrunner
  • Design and implement automated workflows using n8n and Scriptrunner to reduce manual labor and enhance organizational productivity
  • Proactively identify opportunities to integrate AI tools into existing processes to drive innovation and efficiency—a major focus for this role
  • Analyze existing processes within our 100+ employee organization, utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile methodologies to eliminate inefficiencies
  • Lead quarterly planning cycles and execute change management strategies (using frameworks like ADKAR or Kotter) to ensure smooth transitions to new tools
  • Create dashboards and reports (Power BI, eazyBI) to track process metrics and provide actionable recommendations to senior management
  • Manage and mentor a small team, providing clear direction while remaining personally involved in high-stakes technical tasks
  • Conduct regular 1-on-1s, set performance goals, and develop individual growth plans
  • Foster a positive work culture by mediating conflicts, celebrating wins, and protecting the team’s bandwidth from scope creep
Requirements
  • 3 + years in Business Process Management (BPM) or Operational Excellence (OpEx)
  • Expert-level proficiency in Jira (DC & Cloud) , Confluence , and Scriptrunner
  • Proven experience building integrations and automations (e.g., using n8n or similar logic-based tools)
  • A track record of leading small teams and managing stakeholders across different departments
  • Professional fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential
Benefits
  • Modern office in New Belgrade
  • 24 vacation days annually
  • 6 sick days without a medical certificate
  • Premium Health Insurance (coverage up to 5,000 EUR annually)
  • Special occasion gifts: birthday, wedding, newborn
  • Learning & Development budget (for conferences, courses, and certifications)
  • Corporate events: international parties, team buildings, activities
  • Career growth opportunities in a fast-growing company
  • Relocation package for international candidates (if you're not in Serbia)
  • Sports package (FitPass membership)
  • Language classes: Serbian & English (company-covered)
